IRXross: A New Benchmark in Infrared Spectroscopy
The IRXross introduces a groundbreaking approach to infrared spectroscopy, offering the ideal solution for meeting the diverse application demands of a modern era. Positioned as a mid-level FTIR model, the IRXross delivers high-end signal-to-noise (S/N) performance with unmatched low noise, achieving an impressive P-P value of 55,000:1 with one minute of integration.
Unparalleled Performance
The IRXross sets a new standard in sensitivity. When paired with a single-reflection ATR attachment, it successfully detected an exceptionally weak absorbance signal (0.00023) during the analysis of oil stains on paper, even after minimal sample preparation.
A 100 %T (transmittance) line was obtained by sequentially measuring background and sample data with no sample in the compartment. Excluding water vapor and carbon dioxide peaks, the noise level (P-P value) was within ±0.005 %T, demonstrating the system’s ability to deliver ultra-clean data acquisition.
High-resolution measurements of N₂O gas (500 ppm), a greenhouse gas, clearly separated peaks near 2,230 cm⁻¹. In contrast, lower resolutions (1.0 cm⁻¹) showed overlapping peaks, underscoring the precision of the IRXross at 0.25 cm⁻¹.
When monitoring the curing reaction of UV-curable resin, the IRXross tracked changes in the intensity of the peak at 1,635 cm⁻¹. Results showed that the reaction began at 5.0 seconds after UV irradiation and completed by 5.5 seconds, showcasing its ability to capture fast reaction dynamics.
Experience the Future of FTIR Spectroscopy
Combining high performance with ease of use, the IRXross is a powerful tool for researchers and laboratories seeking reliable, high-precision measurements.
